Everyone knows that buying goods online can save money, not only that but time too and it allows you the ability to shop when you where from where you want. People work different hours, people have different schedules that sometimes don’t conform to retail store hours, that’s why I love shopping online, and so does my wife. However we shop for and use the internet in different ways. Here are some examples.

I tend to view the internet as the complete package, where I can buy everything online and have it shipped to me as I did with tires that I bought only for my car. I did some research and found a place where I could buy tires online, I had them shipped to me and took them to a auto shop that the tire retailer suggested to have them balanced, mounted and installed on the car.

On the other hand, while my wife shops online, she views it as more of a support system for example we tend to get a lot of our clothing from Kohls, so my wife tends to search for Kohls Coupons that she can print and take to the store or another thing she searches for frequently is when retailers will have their Clinique Bonus Time so that she can try out new makeups from the Clinique line.  These are just a few ways our household utilizes the internet to save money when purchasing goods, I’m sure other households have found similar methods or even different methods but at the end of the day we are all saving money.

The makers of Similac Baby Formula are now offering Similac Coupons for their baby formula.  The Coupons usually range from a dollar to five in savings off different types of similac baby formula. The bigger the size of the baby formula, (which tend to be more expensive) the higher the savings offered on the coupons.

One reason that Similac offers the coupons is that in order to get coupons you need to provide them with some basic information, information that helps them target their marketing. While there are some privacy concerns, the savings offered by Similac tend to be substantial and for many new parents, overwhelmed by a newborn and all the cost associated, the savings tend to be welcomed and gladly accepted. A friend of mine told me about this game called Words with Friends made by Zynga. I’ve always loved the scrabble game and love the English language so the ability to play a scrabble type game on the iPad really peaked my interest.

Getting the app was simple, just went to the app store on my iPad and downloaded it; I’ve been playing it as against friends and random people and can see why it’s so addictive and understand why Alec Baldwin was kicked off the plan ( I hope he won his game).   I’m not a big game player on my iPad but I really enjoy Words with Friends. One of the nice features of the same is the ability to play against more than one opponent at the same time. I believe their limit is 20 people.

I love a good challenge and love playing this game. If anyone has any strategies for Words With Friends I’m all ears.  Well that’s all my gushing about the game Words with Friends.

In other news work has been busy but not too bad, just getting ready for Easter and just wanted to type what’s been on my mine. Happy Easter Everyone!!!!

I’ll keep this post short as I don’t have much time, need to help the wife around the house to get it ready for the holidays.

I just wanted to wish everyone a joyous, safe and wonderful Easter. I’m looking forward to getting my children chocolate bunnies and watching them search for the eggs that my wife and I will hide throughout the house. It’s the little moments that matter to me and I hope everyone will get to spend and enjoy the little moments with your family.

Another source of excitement is my day off tomorrow, and with that I will leave everyone by saying have a happy Easter.

Its kind of interesting watching children grow up into adults and progress into adulthood.  Watched my nephews grow up and not watching my own kids grow. Children are one of the little joys in life, they bring heart ache, happiness, laughter and joy. I wouldn’t change anything in my life. I hope others feel the same.

We’ll its about to be that time of the year, graduation time, this year should be busy with 2 high school graduation parties and a college graduation. I really never know what to get my nieces and nephews. I’m leaning towards giving them an Amazon Gift Card and let them get what they need. My two nephews are going to college so I figure they’ll need to get items for their dorms.

You Taught Me To Let Go….

Well it was over 80 Degrees today in the midwest, which got me and my wife thinking about summer and where we want to vacation. We usually take a vacation in the summer, sometimes its just spending a week at the beach in North Carolina, other times we go out west. We really haven’t decided where we will go this year, my wife and I are thinking it would be nice to spend some time in South Carolina, I haven’t been there but what I seen and read about it, it seems very nice, so that’s what was going on in my mind throughout the day when I was looking out my window at work. Where ever we go, we’ll be sure to take a lot of pictures and post them here.

Our oldest is enjoying school which is really surprising and nice, That’s a about it, I’ll post some poetry that I came across that I felt very touching soon.
